day 1 in Penang

Met the rest at Kranji MRT at 7pm on the Thursday. Went together to JB to take the bus that will drive us to Penang. Supposed to board the bus at 9pm but end up we boarded it almost to 10pm. Road block at JB after the Tol station and was stuck there for about 15 minutes. There must be something wrong with the drivers. Tsktsk...then after, start the 10 hours to Penang.
Reached Penang at about 7am after 10 hours bus journey. Gosh...can break my bone...
can't check in till about 1pm. so we have about 5 hours to occupy our "free" time.
Went for breakfast at the nearby coffeeshop. Had mee goreng @ 8am. heehee...then we decided to go for a heritage walk at the Georgetown, Penang, with Pinky as the tour guide.
Super tiring...can't concentrate on the stuff. After 10 hours on the bus then go and walk walk under the hot sun? that can just killed me. anyway, our heritage walk was really just walk. Just past by those historical places like the oldest temple in Penang but don't bother to look around it. Before that we went to the Chocolate Boutique. Cool..tried those chocolate. Bought this sesame almond chocolate. Not so bad. quite nice. Went to their shopping centre after the 'heritage walk' and cool ourselves in Starbucks. Then walked around the shopping mall. Nothing interesting. Its just like Far East. Bleachz. Then went to watch Indian Jones for 10RM.
Finally, check in time! The room is so nice! My roomie? Siti....heehee...Short rest in the room. After that went for dinner and another walk in the shopping centre. This time round, the shopping mall is better. Nicer but still had nothing to buy. Back to hotel to clean up ourselves then chill in Qiao'e's room and celebrate Qian Wen's belated birthday. After tired of making noises in people's room and irritate the 'neighbours', all back to our own room for a sleep!!! Slept at about 1 am.
Wake up call @ 7am. 1st game at 10am. Against the Penang club team.
