L for learning

L for learning. Learning car. Sometimes, we used to call kereta lembu (kereta=car, lembu=cow) because it is slow. but if you wanna feel good, tell yourself that you are driving a Lexus. hahaha.

this morning, was driving behind a L car. OMG...seriously. driving behind it is a steering banging journey. i think, if i run, i'll be faster than that car. not blaming that driver because he/she is learning. and i was once like that too. no wonder, 99% of other drivers usually over took me when i was driving that square Lexus logo car. hahaha. but i think i was slightly faster than that. but seriously...i was literally banging my steering and chanting, faster...faster...c'mon... Not saying this just because I can drive around legally without a need for instructor to be beside me. =)
driving behind it in a two way road...gosh. seriously....like seriously. now i feel what other drivers feel when they drove behind a L car with me driving. hahaha. I have yet to horn at any L car cos I know, that wouldn't help them. heehee...kena few times when I was driving because those drivers are just pure irritating.

I realised something...usually to tell pedestrians to cross the road (from left to right side), you'll use your left hand and gesture to them to cross which is easier..but me...i'll use my right hand.. it looks akward but i can't help it. i did it like twice or thrice. my younger bro will then laugh and say "you can use your left hand..."...its like involuntary movement...hmmm...

dinner with molly

dinner with Molly. Usually we (basically me and Serena) had lunch with Molly last semester.
Today, 18 July, dinner with Molly, Soak and Serena @ Pizza Hut @ J8. Dinner with Molly before she's off to US for her pHd this early August. Dinner was pretty fun. It has been ages since I ate the drumlets @ Pizza Hut. niceeeeeeeeee.............as usual, we talked, we laughed plus a lil gossip here and there. i loikeeeeeeeeee...........
another no blind spot check when I talked. gg. Molly was talking about how expensive NY is. Me then happily said "Then, why didn't you go to India or China...bla bla..."...then opppssss....there's an Indian family beside us. After saying that sentence, i can sense that the Indian man beside me immediately stared at our side. I can feel the aura...hahaha....According to Serena, he doesn't seem to give that offended stare. I didn't dare to glance to my right after that. Opppsss....gg. see la, anyhow talk. hahaha...that was funny.
After dinner, headed back home. tired. long Saturday.

Muffin baking with Huda

We had quite a big order for our muffins! Slept over @ Huda's place last night.

Baked our muffins and did some of the decorations till like 2am. Had to sleep because our eyes can't take it anymore. heehee. Supposed to wake up @ 8am this morning but our dear Huda, woke up 2 hours later...hahaha. I woke up @ 8.15. Shower. While waiting for partner, i decided to help myself and plug in Hamzah's PS2 and entertained myself with Winning 11. hahahah.
3 hours to complete our Sesame Street fondant. After doing the Elmo, we thought they didn't look like an Elmo cos the eyes were too big. Look more like a red frog. heehee..further modification and yay! they are more Elmo now. tick-tock, tick-tock, the clock is ticking. By 1 plus, we finished! and they did look like the Sesame Street character. phew. Deliver the stuff down to Aloha Changi. Decorated the muffins for them. The lil b'day boy managed to name our Sesame Street character s correctly. phew!
In conclusion, we're good! hahaha..Lunch @ Changi Village then walked around Tampines 1 for awhile. Gosh, i think Tampines 1 is good. There's this shop and they sell nice tee. I wanna buy the sweater that Huda bought. I should go there again next week. Hmmmm.....
Back to Huda's house. Clean up the mess...rest awhile...shower then off for dinner. Dinner with Molly =)

Today had friendly with SIM.
Everyone played well today.
Played with Soak, Vian, Serena, Charmaine and SherylS (for 1 period only). Love my line mates. =)
I felt 3 of us are effective playing together. heehee... 3 of us scored! weeee....Vian, why you graduate already?? hahaha....
I scored with a backhand shot...okay, it's not really shot, more of a tap. heehee... also took a couple of direct shot from Serena's pass and missed some too...urgh!! how can i miss it..the ball was rolling so nice to me. tsktsk. more practice!!
Cannot wait for IVP training =) Wonder who's the coach gonna be.....hhhhmmmm.

Went to Queensway in the evening with my younger brother. Bought a Deuter bag for my 1st brother's birthday. So nice la the bag! heehee....I cannot wait till next week for his birthday, so i decided to give it to him just now. hahaha...i'm the one who is so excited. it is still a surprise. don't need to wait till the day itself for surprise. =) i think that's the best surprise. hahah...
and and and....i bought myself a Liverpool polo-T. so niceeee....hahaha. saw that shirt and i "fell in love" with it. heehee. I saw an Adidas bag...quite nice too. my next target. hahaha...

Finally he's laid to rest. RIP MJ.

Watching his videos, he was such a sweet person and a sweet father and he had a sweet voice too. I have always love his Heal the World song to the max! He's gone too soon.

RIP MJ! No one can ever replace you. You are one of a kind. =)

Why does it take for someone to be dead and then appreciated? Why didn't people show their appreciation, their love when he was still alive? It applies not only to him but others too...

bored..so decided to type "Michael Jackson" on youtube and found a video of MJ being interviewed by Oprah back in 1993.

MJ: Hmmm...what do I know for sure?

MJ: Oh boy! I'm still learning. I mean life is an education for me, I can't say I know anything for sure. I really believe that.

great saturday!

Last game for this 2009 Div1 League season. played against Callistans.
we won. 7-2. yay!
my line today was disbanded cos my defence partner, Lily, my center, Xl and forward, Vian cannot make it for the game. gg. hahaha.

Anyway, today was the 2nd best game for this season. played as center. i feel so effective playing as center. haha. up and down, left and right. shiok. haha. and and and....i managed to do my curve in runs from the left side!!! yay! like finally man....yay!
Assisted Qiao'e twice! same type of pass and same type of goals!woohoo!!! shiok! the 2 goals were 98% similar. (anyone recorded it on video??) the 2nd one was like a repeat of the 1st for those who missed it. heehee... had a couple of shots too...yay! seriously, i feel so effective today. hahaah. was just a lil slow to take a rebound. if not, i think can score one. haha. but never mind, assist is as good as scoring.

Its great that we ended the season with a good note. We started well and ended well though in between, we had our ups and down. They never dampen our team spirit.
I loike Tempest this season. I felt we are more bonded this season than the last. Some of the seniors are going to retire.....pleasssseeee...DON'T RETIRE!!!!! we are in the process of becoming a good, strong team. ONE MORE SEASON PLEASE!!! WE STILL HAVE ONE ULTIMATE GOAL THAT WE DIDN'T MANAGE TO ACHIEVE THIS SEASON! WE SHALL TRY AGAIN NEXT SEASON! DON'T RETIRE FIRST!!!!!! C'MON!!! please...stay another season!!

Then went for dinner with dearest 04S2 @ Bali Thai @ Westmall. I miss them! Dinner was great. catching up with those people and bullying Hui Fang. Classic. haahah.
My x-CT, MS Goh, said I'm still like a kid. hahah. a girl who never grow up. haha. young at heart! =)

Heal the World

Am waiting for my gourmet level in the restaurant city in facebook (thanks to Louise, i'm kinda addicted to it...hahah) and i decided to youtube-ing awhile. Came across the video, Heal the World by our late MJ.

Watching the vid, make me feel how lucky I am to be born in Singapore and most important be born into this lovely family. Looking at those kids, born in a war zone countries, poor countries, having families members died because of the blardy war.This really makes me thankful and grateful to Him.
Be thankful and grateful that we are not in their shoes. No matter how bad our family is, we still have a roof to live under, proper food to enjoy, school to go to, playgrounds to play at and most important we always feel safe no matter where we are (most of the time la). Be thankful and grateful, and stop complaining how miserable our lives are cos these kids doesn't have the luxuries that we tend to take for granted.



Random note, I think i have a mild food poisoning. Me and my younger brother have a lil diarrhea. Might be the food we ate last sunday =(

last training for the season

Yesterday marked the last Tempest training before Div1 season ends.
Luckily, training was at NTU.

Training was pretty ok. though we did more or less the same drills, it was still fun. =)
Eddie is such a nice, positive and optimist coach. haha. He is one of the reason why I decided to stay in Tempest =)

After this season, nothing much to look forward too except for IVP training. IVP!!!!!

Damage done after yesterday's training: mild injuries to my toes and hand.

Do you know how does it feel to find out something that you buy for yourself is used up by others and then not telling you that..."oooppsss....i've finished it up......".? You only get that answer after you asked not before you asked.
