day 2 in Penang

wake up call at 7am. went down for breakfast @ about 8am. Had nasi lemak for breakfast...heehee...had a heavy breakfast though i had game 2 hours later...hahaha...
journey to the stadium there took almost an hour. Chartered a bus to drive us around for the whole Saturday. Bas sekolah (school bus). Had to drive around the hill. Really go round the hill. Kinda scary. Then had game against the Penang club team, Contact Club and Innebandy. 3 mixed lines and 1 pure ladies line. My liney: Irfan, Hans, Siti and Qian Wen. Didn't scored any nor concede any goals. Overall, we won. Had penalty shots after that. Took one but didn't score..boohoo...
After game, went for lunch. Uncle suggested this place but then it was close. So ate lunch at the coffeeshop near the hotel. There, Irfan asked if there's ABC (Air Batu Campur or Ice Kachang). Guess what that guy did? He looked at the fridge for the ABC. What was he thinking? That ABC tiger?? tsktsk. Managed to rest for about an hour before we have to leave for shopping and another game at 8pm.
The shopping centre, Queensbay Mall, is more like it. Super big...bigger than Vivo. The shops? thats more i like too...Adidas, Puma, Borders, Nike and others...but the sad thing, didn't manage to shop that much cos we had about an hr and a half.
Siti and I spent about 40 minutes in this shop. Bought a cute shirt. heehee....then went to Borders to look for a book. Only spent 15 minutes there. Sad. Bought book titled Fight Club. Then its 6.30pm. Time to leave. boohoo.
Back in the stadium. Played against the Penang State Team. 2 full periods for the gals and another 2 full periods for the guys. Both the ladies and guys team won against them :P Didn't managed to score. Why? Miss alot of chances. Had great shots but all my balls went everywhere except for the goal. Bleachz!
After game, left the stadium and went for dinner/supper. The rest wanted to have Steam boat but they ended up eating at the road side near the hotel. heehee... cos the steam boat isn't Halal, we (Liyana, Siti, Ifran and myself) decided to go to a different coffee shop. On the way there, and while the rest were enjoying their food, it started to rain. Kinda heavy. They had to run to shelter with their food while us standing there looking at them...heehee. Then came this aunty who was carrying the Cheng Thng (is this the spelling) they ordered. She was like shouting "Eh, don't run! don't run" in Chinese and was like chasing after them. Damn funny and cute.
We ended up eating our dinner/supper at about 12.30am. Ordered spicy fried rice and it was really spicy. Didn't manage to finish it up. Left the shop..went to Happy Mart, another version of 7-11 to get some stuff before heading back to hotel.
Reached hotel about 1am plus and we decided to look around the hotel like its lounge floor and the spa+gym+swimming pool level (at 3rd level).

Tired...shall continue this funny experience at the 3rd level of the hotel later...

Thought these 2 shirts are cute la....
They were selling this shirt for 15RM for a fund raising event
They gave us this. Cool right?

day 1 in Penang

Met the rest at Kranji MRT at 7pm on the Thursday. Went together to JB to take the bus that will drive us to Penang. Supposed to board the bus at 9pm but end up we boarded it almost to 10pm. Road block at JB after the Tol station and was stuck there for about 15 minutes. There must be something wrong with the drivers. Tsktsk...then after, start the 10 hours to Penang.
Reached Penang at about 7am after 10 hours bus journey. Gosh...can break my bone...
can't check in till about 1pm. so we have about 5 hours to occupy our "free" time.
Went for breakfast at the nearby coffeeshop. Had mee goreng @ 8am. heehee...then we decided to go for a heritage walk at the Georgetown, Penang, with Pinky as the tour guide.
Super tiring...can't concentrate on the stuff. After 10 hours on the bus then go and walk walk under the hot sun? that can just killed me. anyway, our heritage walk was really just walk. Just past by those historical places like the oldest temple in Penang but don't bother to look around it. Before that we went to the Chocolate Boutique. Cool..tried those chocolate. Bought this sesame almond chocolate. Not so bad. quite nice. Went to their shopping centre after the 'heritage walk' and cool ourselves in Starbucks. Then walked around the shopping mall. Nothing interesting. Its just like Far East. Bleachz. Then went to watch Indian Jones for 10RM.
Finally, check in time! The room is so nice! My roomie? Siti....heehee...Short rest in the room. After that went for dinner and another walk in the shopping centre. This time round, the shopping mall is better. Nicer but still had nothing to buy. Back to hotel to clean up ourselves then chill in Qiao'e's room and celebrate Qian Wen's belated birthday. After tired of making noises in people's room and irritate the 'neighbours', all back to our own room for a sleep!!! Slept at about 1 am.
Wake up call @ 7am. 1st game at 10am. Against the Penang club team.

See...i'm dying there!

the testament

The Testament
"Fans of Dan Brown's Code will enjoy this thrilling novel"
-Library Journal
Braverman Shaw--"Bravo" to his friends--always knew his father had secrets. But not until Dexter Shaw dies does Bravo discover that his father belonged to the Order of Gnostic Observatines, a hidden sect long believed extinct. For centuries, the Order has guarded a lost Testament that could shake Christianity to its foundations. Dexter Shaw was the latest Keeper of the Testament--and Bravo is his chosen successor.

To find the Testament, Bravo, a medieval scholar and cryptanalyst, must follow the clues his father left behind. His companion in this quest is Jenny Logan, a woman he barely knows. Jenny is a Guardian, assigned by the Order to protect Bravo, or so she claims. Bravo soon learns that he can trust no one where the Testament is concerned, perhaps not even Jenny...

Is the world coming to an end?

Is the world coming to an end?
Mother nature has started to show its anger towards the evil mankind.
The man who have abused her all this years.
Never to show our sympathy to her until now.

Is the world coming to an end?
The natural disaster that happens here and there.
The earthquakes, the cyclones, the tsunamis.
The increase in violence.
The wars, the riots, the bombings.
Are all these signs that the world is finally giving in?

Is the world coming to an end?
Are we ready for this?
Have we ever thought what it will be like?
I rather die than to witness and experience it.
Have we reflect on our lives?
What good things we have done?
What have we achieved in our lives?
Are we satisfied with our lives?
Have we been good to our parents, to our siblings, to the people around us?
What is the purpose of us born to this world?

Is the world coming to an end?
What can we do to prevent it?
Is there a way to prevent it?
Reduce, reuse and recycle?
Will it works?

Is the world coming to an end?
ARE WE PREPARED FOR IT?

Coming to terms that its not my time yet. Will continue to go for it until i get it. Never to give up.

Sleep

Was reading some stuff on yahoo when i came across about 'Why do people sleepwalk'. Its quite interesting thing...
"...Recovery sleep was allowed the next morning after patients had been awake for 25 hours. Subjects were videotaped during each sleep period as the research team evaluated their behavior, which ranged from playing with bed sheets to trying to jump over the bed rails. Subjects were evaluated on a three-point scale based on the complexity of their actions.
...Sleepwalking is "a disorder of arousal, a kind of mixed state of being," Kapur said. There are three states of being in the world of sleep researchers - wakefulness, non-REM (rapid eye movement) sleep and REM sleep (most associated with dreams). Sleepwalking is a mixture of wakefulness and non-REM sleep, he said....."

I wonder how i sleep every night..maybe i also sleep walk just that i still ended on my bed by the next morning...heeheee...maybe i should video record myself to see myself sleeping through the night...hmmm..not a bad idea though...
My lil brother...loves to talk in his sleep...its not that he does it on purpose but it seems to be a routine every night...almost every single night he will talk or shout in his sleep...my uncle told that one night after hours of a Monopoly game, my bro laughed in his sleep and keep on saying "I'm rich...I'm rich..."...btw, he won in that game...one interesting thing about people who talk in his sleep is that when u asked them question, they will answer it back...haahah....

Big day tmr....hope everything will go well..wish me luck!!!!!
