Update on my 1st IVP game

Ok..i'm kinda excited to blog about this...its gonna be slightly long...

As i've mentioned alot of time, today or actually yesterday was my 1st IVP game. We played against NUS. I was kinda nervous before the games but all that nervousness disappear as soon as the game started. I think the NTU-NUS game was freaking exciting to watch because there were few moments that is like heart dropping...maybe i'm exaggerating but who cares...i thought it was kinda exciting.

The first period went off with no goals from both teams. So there's nothing much for me to say in the first period..heehee...
The 2nd and 3rd period were the heart pain and morale booster moments. We were down to 3 nil in the first 27th minute. At the time they scored the 3rd goal, i was like...OMG...can we really do it?? I managed to shake off those negative thoughts and i'm back on the game! There was one moment where the ref made a mistake. She said it was a goal while actually it was not because the ball hit the post. So Qiao'e (NTU Capt), went to talk to them and after few minutes, she made a call that it was NOT a goal. Thank God! She made a mistake...everyone does. So its ok..it was not a goal..that is the important thing! Although we were 3 nil down, i think none of us gave up. Bla...bla..bla...we manage to get a free hit at the offensive side..so Junling and I decided to do *ehem..ehem* free hit..(can't say what is that...until IVP is over then i say what is that ehem..ehem)...hahaah...I think the NTU IVP people know what is that called. Me and Junling have been planning it since the day before the game. Lucky we manage to execute it. With that *ehem..ehem* free hit, i SCORED AN OPENING GOAL for NTU! with Junling as the assist. All thanks to my Zone stick! I super love my Zone stick!!!! Anyway, after that goal, everyone (almost) ran up to me..and i was squeezed in the middle grasping for air..heehee..u know i'm not so tall..so yeap...i felt i cannot breathe...heehee...it was a great feeling...i can't describe it with words..i think that was a morale booster..after that, we all are high.
At the 3rd period, we managed to score 3 goals in about 2minutes 18 sec!!! 1 goal scored through penalty by our Serena..then 1 minute later another goal by her and about 2 minutes later, its from Molly...cool huh?? Hahahaha...so by that time, we were leading 4-3. However, at the final 38 sec...NUS managed to score an equalizer...damn shitty man! But its ok...we will fight harder in our upcoming matches...NP and TP..watch out for NTU!!! hahaahah....

Btw, in the 1st game, Dennis (though he was not there) did not play all..he only played 2 lines. I'm really glad and happy that my other teammates who did not get to play were there at the benched to cheer and support us. I think they shout and shout until they almost lost their voice. They were very supportive. Thanks gals for that. Not to forget the seniors and the senior Storm gals and the guys who went down to support us. I can hear them and i'm really glad they came down to support. THANK YOU FOR THAT! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! Although Dennis was not there, i think we played quite well. Maybe we will play better with him. But in all, Louise who is our Team Manager took over Dennis and yeah, she did a great job! She shouted like nobody's business and i think she also like almost lost her voice.

I think my entry is quite long enough...so i shall stop here...will update again on the next game..playing against NP.
For now, i shall call it a night....
